This really puts into perspective the poor financial choices I’ve made.

All about priorities, sometimes a box of biscuits is just a box of biscuits.

I was pulling into the parking lot of the local Goodwill Industries thrift store  last week and noticed a shopper loading her finds into a new Maserati Quattroporte.

Maybe it was purchased slightly used? Or most likely it was on lease

I have a theory that no one actually buys new Maseraties, because why in the world would you?

In my area, Maseratis are becoming more and more common ever since the Alfa/Fiat/Maserati dealership opened a year ago. We’ve never really had the population base for any supercar dealership. Maserati isn’t a supercar, but it is new to us, and pricey, and considering that the clientele for Goodwill thrift stores drives more like what I do, (2006 Corolla), it really hit me as out of the ordinary. I will say with the upturn in the US economy, I’m seeing more and more ‘Halo’ cars down-on-the-street.
